We’re working on an exciting branding and marketing project for a construction company here in Miami. Last year we built them a website and this year we are embarking on bringing more personality and identity to the organization. It’s a small company and the projects have been modest – but the opportunity to bring a solid, effective presence to the market here has been fun.

What I’ve been noticing as we worked on this brand has been the evolving color palettes. Every place has its own story – in Miami the story is about sky and water, brilliant sunshine and hues of neon and night. There’s no escaping it. Even the flora in Miami has a saturated quality – greens are greener and light penetrates everything. It’s a translucency that’s different for me – a native New Englander – to view (and photograph).

Every place has its own palette. How would you describe yours?

Let me know. – Kevin
